As we mentioned on Our Rehab Process page, the last stage of our process is to reinvest a portion (ten percent) of our brokerage commissions into our community. All of those funds are designated for our Building Neighborhoods Fund (BNF).

At the end of each quarter, we will donate everything within the BNF as of that date to a non-profit organization, business, or an individual in the community. For now, we are defining community as the Buffalo-Niagara region.

It would be easy (and more of a tax advantage to us) to  limit our donations to non-profit organizations, but we recognize that a community is made up of more than non-profit organizations; rather, a community is made up of the individuals, schools, and small businesses that make places like Buffalo it’s own unique part of these United States.
